The ACF Slovakia program opens a call for implementation of the predefined project “Development and use of life competences of young people”

19 September 2019

Young people in Slovakia do not always have enough opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to the development of their communities. There is still a lack of programs and projects to support young people’s participation in public life, provide them with opportunities to be useful to their communities and to learn practical skills that can be used in beneficial activities and in the future.

The predefined project “Development and use of life competences of young people” aims to contribute to the participation of young people in civic activities through the development of their project management competencies and the development of their social skills, while enabling them to apply their acquired skills through carrying out practical activities directly in their communities. The predefined project should thus include educational and networking activities. It should also create space for the application of acquired skills in practice through the implementation of specific activities in the communities where young people live and work.

The call for the predefined project “Development and use of life competences of young people” is open from 6 September to 29 November 2019 and the financial allocation for the predefined project is 300,000 €.
